The exhibition addresses relationships among structures that house the body, ranging from the geological to the architectural, from textile structures to our own psychological constructs.
Held Together is the most recent exhibition of the EMERGENCE initiative. A collaboration between Accelerate and the Miller Institute for Contemporary Art, EMERGENCE is an interdisciplinary leadership program unique to Carnegie Mellon University. Through a rotating series of exhibitions in the MBA Commons of the Tepper Quad, EMERGENCE helps students learn critical thinking, cultural literacy, and self-awareness by engaging with art in their everyday environment. EMERGENCE is made possible by the generosity of the Citrone family.
