Birdscape: Michael Pestel and Jeroen Van Westen

Endangered species in particular, but all birds in general, are a kind of mnemonic device, a living memory with which we can still talk. The installation Birdscape, by Michael Pestel and Jeroen Van Westen, explored these communications through a centrally placed soundscape, two videoscapes, and performances and workshop events.
