Virtual Tour of Andrea Zittel: An Institute of Investigative Living

This "live" virtual guided tour looks at several works in the recent exhibition, Andrea Zittel: An Institute of Investigative Living, focusing on the questions, can art teach us how to live, and can living teach us how to practice art? This tour will visit all three floors of the exhibition which examines 15 years of Zittel's career, emphasizing the artist's vision of domestic spaces and how they can be reimagined through shifting rules, functions and desires. We will talk about the tensions between ultimate freedom and the rules or guidelines that keep things in order.
